The Perple Pineapple (Yes, that’s an e instead of the u) plays honour to the way our local dialect say ‘Purple’ - a truly unique name, for a truly unique bar.
Opened up in October 2025, The Perple Pineapple is a true destination bar in the centre of Hartlepool. Minutes away from the town centre, other local bars & the train station.
We’re becoming renowned for our events, cocktails & beers from around the world!
Built across three floors, The Perple Pineapple has something for everyone - our basement has comfy sofas and chairs along with a dartboard and Jukebox to create your own atmosphere!
The ground floor, as you enter, has live music every Friday & Saturday from 7:30PM and even a DJ booth, along with our main bar and seating area. Head upstairs, and you’ll find some comfy booths, more seating and a heated outdoor terrace! Don’t worry though, we also offer table service via QR codes if you’re not fancying the stairs again - or if that’s just your thing!
We’ve curated a huge menu of drinks, including hand crafted cocktails, cold pints from around the world - and even Bottled Beers that could be described as ‘weird and wonderful!’
We’re here to make an experience - one that every person can enjoy. So whether you like a fine white wine, a delicious craft beer or hand crafted cocktail, we’ve got you.
We’ve taken over an old Hoover centre - sorry, Henry! We’re based in the heart of Hartlepool, just off the well known Church Street & Scarborough Street, so we’re surrounded by great transport links and other bars and restaurants. Hartlepool Railway Station is just a two minute walk away, with the town centre bus stops around five minutes away.
